Day 28 Check in: The Good, The Bad and the Smooth.


Sleep: pretty solid, 1:30-7:30
Mood: positive but uterine. 
Weight: 167.8
Body Fat: 22 %
Exercise: 6km various hiking with knapsacks, ab work out, bike riding. 
Stats: 77/13/10
Money Spent on Food: zilch. 

Breakfast: 
-fail flavoured smoothie
  • 1 cup carrot juice
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 tangelo
  • 1 scoop Green Superfood
  • 2 cups spinach

I was half asleep when I made this and was thinking of nutrients rather than taste. It was very...earthy tasting. We got adult spinach as opposed to baby spinach and I forgot that it has a much stronger flavour. 2 cups was waaaaay too much for a morning shake. The sweet/savoury balance was totally off. 

midmorning snack: 
-baby carrots
-banana
-sugar snap peas

lunch: 
-pint of blueberries
-banana
-coconut water

Midafternoon snack: 
-canteloupe
-raisins
-coconut nut cookie (last one!) 
-1 square Giddy Yoyo chocolate. I felt like treating myself, even though it was too much fat for my percentages. 

Dinner: 
-pickles
-smoothie
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup spinach (hah!) 
  • 1 cup parsley
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 scoop Progressive Protein powder. 

I wasn't hungry AT ALL but made myself a smoothie and tossed it back or else I would have eaten about 1000 calories today, which is terribly low. Now I have a tummy ache. Stupid tummy.
